To coincide with the conclusion of the Great North Run, prestige chauffeur organisation Parkers were delighted to be invited as the joint sponsors for the Young Gloves charity launch evening.
The Evening was held at the Hotel Du Vin, Newcastle and consisted of an informal celebration of discussion and recognition to the runners who had successfully completed the Great North Run on behalf of the charity.
Young gloves is a charity service which provides kick boxing and boxercise sessions for young children in order to educate them on the importance of leading a healthy active lifestyle. The programme is delivered by qualified gym instructors, trained in boxercise and listed on the Register of Exercise Professionals.
The benefits of children engaging in the young gloves activities are perceived as a service providing:
- A fun and energetic exercise,
- A safe, non combat- based activity,
- It is suitable for all ages and levels of ability,
- Young gloves provides aerobic and anaerobic exercise,
- Engages a diverse set of muscles,
- Improves hand-eye co-ordination,

Brian and Tom were delighted to represent chauffeur car services organisation Parkers at such a exciting event. It is a fair assessment to state that this event was delivered to perfection by all from the Young Gloves team.
Particularly pleasing was the commitment shown by the guests who attended the evening all united in seeking to widen our regions knowledge of such an innovative service.
It will only be a matter of time before this charity acquires the recognition it deserves.
